Upon arrival in the morning, you will be picked up by the tour guide of Active African Vacations and transfer to nyungwe forest national park with en route lunch and visits to genocide memorials and arrive in nyungwe in evening hours , all the drive you will explore the hills and jungle forests of Rwanda with cool Environment.
Check in the hotel for dinner and overnight. Gisakura Guest house/ Nyungwe forest lodge/nyungwe hill top lodge. Meals on Full board.
Wake up in the morning for breakfast and later take a 30 Minutes drive to the park headquarters for briefing about the chimpanzee tracking rules & regulations, after enter into the jungle forest to search for the primates in the wild which might last for about 2-3 hours.
Return to the lodge for lunch and after lunch take a 2 hours drive to cross to Democratic republic of congo. Dinner and overnight at Coco Lodge/ orchids Safari Lodge/Far horizon , Meals on Full board.
After morning break fast , you will embark into the safari jeep and take 1 hour drive to the park headquarter for briefing about the lowland gorilla trekking rules & regulations .
Understand that eastern Lowland gorillas in Kahuzi Biege National Park that are much bigger in size with vast family groups as compared to the endangered species of Mountain Gorillas.
After the trek, you can opt to the chimpanzee orphanage centre Near the park , Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
After morning breakfast, you will take a city tour of the biggest city of bukavu and later proceed to cross the border to Rwanda via Ruzizi & drive to Volcanoes national park in the northern province of Rwanda passing through gisenyi and lake kivu water shores, reach in the evening hours at Volcanoes national park.
Dinner and overnight at Mountain gorilla view Lodge/ Five volcanoes lodge/Muhabura hotel.
Rise up very early in the morning and have breakfast and thereafter proceed to volcanoes national park in Musanze district.
Head straight to the park offices for briefing about the gorillas and allocation of gorilla groups and guides.
Thereafter get into the tropical rain forest and search for the mountain gorillas starting from where they were the previous day until you find them.
You will find them doing their daily chores of feeding their young ones, climbing trees and others just relaxing. Take your best photographs having switched off your flash. This whole exercise takes a maximum of 1 hour and then return to the park offices for your gorilla tracking certificate.
Return to the hotel for lunch and some relaxation. Afternoon, take 2 hours drive to cross to Uganda for relaxation. Dinner and overnight at Kisoro Travelers hotel/ Golden monkey guest house/mucha Hotel.Meals plan here is F/B
Raise up in the morning hours and transfer to Mgahinga National park for briefing about the golden monkey tracking rules & regulations and later enter into the jungle forest to search for the apes, it will reward you with the chance of hiking the terrains of hill slopes and this activity is likely to last for 2-4 hours .
Return to the lodge for lunch and later transfer to Lake bunyonyi for relaxation. Dinner & overnight at Bird Nest Lodge/ Bunyonyi overland camp ,meals at Full board.
Raise up very early in the morning, go for boat cruise to visit the punishment islands on the lake. Later return to the lodge for breakfast and transfer to Queen elizabeth national park via the ishaha sector to search for the tree climbing lions in the wilderness with the experienced tour guide of Active African Vacations.Dinner and overnight stay Ishasha Jungle Lodge/ The river lodge/Bush lodge. Have breakfast, and thereafter take dawn game drive looking for the African wildlife species like the lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, warthogs, water and bush buck and much more. Return to lodge for lunch, thereafter take boat cruise along the Kazinga channel that connects Lake George to Lake Edward, and over this cruise expect to spot the wildlife and birds at the banks of the channel.
