Day 1: Kigali-Volcanoes National Park
Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, The experienced tour guide from Primate Safari experiences will welcome you and take you’re a city tour. During the city tour, expect to visit some markets, shopping places and some genocide memorials before proceeding to the Musanze. If time allows, you may first visit the twin Lakes of Bulera and Ruhondo, then later proceed to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Rwanda Gorillas-Cultural Visit
After early morning breakfast, you will transfer to Volcanoes National Park Rwanda Park headquarters for briefing about the dos and don’ts on Gorilla trekking, registration, gorilla group allocation and later enter the jungle forest to start the search for the mountain gorillas like 2-4 hours walking to reach the territory where the mountain gorillas are resting, then 1 hour with the gorillas taking photos and videos.
Then after return to the park offices for your gorilla trekking certificate and then drive to the lodge and relax, visit the local communities. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Second gorilla trekking-Lake Kivu
The second encounter with the gorillas in Volcanoes national park can never be the same as the first time experience of watching the gorillas in the magic Volcanic park of Rwanda. Primate Safari experiences encourage travellers to always allow a second gorilla trekking to compare the gorilla families in the park.
On the second gorilla trekking adventure, have breakfast, and head to the park headquarter for a briefing about the gorilla trekking rules as the park official allocated to you a different gorilla family to visit and head to the starting for the gorilla trekking in the magical Volcanoes with the experienced ranger guides that have been in the gorilla conservation for over a decade.
After lunch, you will drive to Lake Kivu and relax at the beach as you wait for dinner and overnight

Day 4: Transfer from Gisenyi to Kigali
Have breakfast, and take a boat ride on Lake Kivu visiting the fishing villages, have lunch and after embarking on your safari van and transfer back to Kigali airport for your return flight back home.
