Detailed Itinerary
The 3 Days Rwanda Safari Adventure starts from Kigali Rwanda and ends in Kigali- it can be customized depending on the travelers interests and needs that may include exclusive gorilla trekking where you visit the gorilla family alone and an extra cost charged by the Company.
Day 1: Transfer from Kigali to Volcanoes National Park
Upon arrival at Kigali international airport, you will be welcomed by the tour guide from Primate Safari Experiences a local safari company that is known for memorable primate Safaris in Rwanda, Uganda & Congo.
Depending on the time of arrival in Rwanda, Take a city tour to visit some of the key important tourists’ attractions like markets, genocide memorials. Take lunch and after drive to Musanze in Volcanoes national park which is located 2hours;30 minutes drive from Kigali, the capital city of Rwanda which is ranked as the cleanest city in Africa.

Flying from Kigali to Volcanoes is available once you have selected flying Safari for your visit to Rwanda’s Famous home for the mountain gorillas with Primate Safari Experiences.
Day 2: Gorilla tracking in Volcanoes National Park
You will be required to wake up very early in the morning since all activities in Volcanoes national park start in the morning including the search for the primates ( Mountain gorillas & Golden monkey), have breakfast and thereafter proceed to volcanoes national park headquarters for briefing about gorilla trekking and allocation of groups to be trekked.
The Safari guide will drive you to the starting point for the mountain gorilla trekking experience and thereafter get into the tropical rain forest and search for the mountain gorillas starting from where they were the previous day until you find them. You will find them doing their daily chores of feeding their young ones, climbing trees and others just relaxing. Take your best photographs having switched off your flash.
The expected Time to stay with the Mountain Gorillas is one hour since its gorilla trekking.
Drive back to the hotel for lunch and some relaxation. Dinner and overnight stay as above.

Day 3: Golden monkey tracking-Drive back to Kigali.
On this day, you don’t need to be so early. You will have breakfast and then drive to the volcanoes for golden monkey tracking. During this activity, you may also spot other primates in the forest. You will drive back to the hotel for lunch and afterwards continue to Kigali and to the airport depending on the time of your flight and that marks the end of this safari.
