You will be welcomed by tour guide from Active African Vacations after breakfast to enjoy a visit to Kigali’s attractions like the genocide Memorial sites, the oldest King’s palace in Nyanza where you will relocate from to Gisenyi Lake Kivu, you will have lunch then cross the Congo border to Goma town where you will have Dinner and Overnight at Mikeno lodge, Lac Kivu Lodge, Ihusi Hotel. meals on Full board.
You will wake up early in the morning take breakfast then proceed to the hiking starting point i.e Kibati Patrol Post.
While here, you will climb up to the top of the volcano and at the top you will spot the conical lava lake spewing lava into thin air producing a reddish lighting in the sky that makes all viewers have exceptional encounters and experiences.
This will take you almost the whole day although if the group is more physically fit, you can hike it in a relatively few hours. After reaching the top, you will spot the beautiful lava lake, terrain vegetation and different wildlife species like forest elephants, primates e.g the black and white Colobus monkeys, vervet monkeys as well as brilliant spectacular birds.
You will wake up and descend back down wards where you will later on transfer form to Gisenyi then to Kigali for lunch and later proceed straight to the airport for your flight back home.
