Primate rules and regulations

Do not visit the primates when you have a cold.

Persons below the age of 15 are not allowed to track primate

Maximum number of group members must be 8 while habituation takes on 4 members

Trackers must stay for at most 1 hour in the presence of primates, except for habituation which is limited to 4 hours

A distance of 7-10 meters should be maintained between the primates and trackers or habituators

smoking, drinking and eating are not allowed when with the primates

Do not use flash photography

All primates can be visited all year round, although we consider the drier months between  December to Mid March and Mid-June to September, as they are more comfortable for trekking and tracking. You don’t have to be cut off due to the rains during the months of October-November and March-May, because, it is an opportunity to have the forests and mountains to yourself, the guides and the gorillas.
